Unable to calculate route
My navigation system isn't working and displays the message "Unable to calculate route".

This message is not related to your vehicle's navigation map. An update will not resolve the issue. Your vehicle has likely lost its location. If you look at the navigation map, you should be positioned at point 0,0 on the blog, south of Ghana, on what is known as Null Island.
Sometimes, the problem can be resolved by rebooting your iDrive with a hard reboot: "press and hold the volume control button on the audio control unit for up to 70 seconds."
